Описание растения: Калина необыкновенная среди садоводов-любителей малоизвестна. Поскольку на Северо-западе и севернее ягодных культур не так уж и много, то каждый новый для нас вид является ценным приобретением. Речь пойдет о калине, которая используется в зеленом строительстве. Это калина гордовина, или калина средиземноморская, калина войлочная (Viburnum lantana L.) - весьма декоративное растение. Между тем, этот мощный, густой и раскидистый кустарник, крупнолистный, выше средней высоты, весьма интересен и перспективен для более широкого введения в садовую культуру. Естественный ареал распространения его - леса Западной Европы, Малой Азии, юго-западной части Украины, Крыма, Кавказа, где гордовина встречается в качестве подлеска. Там она достигает 3 и даже 4-5-метровой высоты. Засухоустойчива, устойчива к запылению, задымлению и загазованности. Корневая система мощная (конечно, при такой-то высоте надземной части этого растения). Калина гордовина - один из лучших декоративных кустарников, давно введен в озеленение садов и парков. Она нетребовательна к почвам, теневынослива, морозостойка, засухоустойчива, переносит городские условия, сохраняет до начала зимы красивые розово-красные осенние листья и черные блестящие плоды. Уход за растением: Один из лучших декоративных кустарников, красочный в период цветения, в пору созревания плодов и в осенний период - яркой окраской листвы. Используется в групповых и одиночных посадках садов и парков в виде опушек и живых изгородей. Хорошо сочетается с дубом и липой. Имеет декоративные формы: пестролистную (f variegata) - с желто-пестрыми листьями; и морщинистую (f. rugosa) - с более крупными соцветиями и крупными, более морщинистыми листьями. 'Aureum'. Кустарник высотой 2-3 м (растет быстро), с красивыми овальными листьями. Сверху листья золотистого цвета, внизу- опушенные, серебристо-войлочные. В 7 лет высота 1,3 м, диаметр кроны 90 см. Вегетирует с середины апреля до середины октября. Темп роста средний. Цветет в мае. Плоды не отмечены. Зимостойкость полная. Укореняется 80% летних черенков. 'Aureo-variegatum'. Листья с желтыми пятнами и полосками. Цветет в мае, иногда плодоносит. |
