Вьющееся растение Adlumia asiatica - Адлумия азиатская

Растение получило свое название в честь американского садовода и любителя ботаники Эдлама (J. Adium) в Вашингтоне. В одичавшем виде встречается на Далеком Востоке, в Корее и Маньчжурии. Лазящее травянистое растение с тонкими зигзагообразными стволами до 400 см длиной. Всем известно о том, что листья на маленьких черешках, три раза тройчато как бы рассеченные, сегменты на тонких черешочках, средний сектор имеет вид длинноватого, завивающегося усика. Мало кто знает то, что цветки, как многие выражаются, розовато-белые с, как заведено, фиолетовым цветом, поникающие, кувшинковидные, собраны в кистевидные соцветия. И действительно, цветет с июня до августа. Очень хочется подчеркнуть то, что плод - линейная коробка. Необходимо подчеркнуть то, что семечки маленькие, темные. Занесена в Красную Книгу РОССИИ.

Уход за растением:

Месторасположение Adlumia asiatica: адлумию целесообразно высаживать на открытых местах, около стен, оград или специальных опор. Она переносит легкое затенение.
Почва Adlumia asiatica: неприхотливы, хорошо развиваются на любых окультуренных почвах (в глинистые или песчаные субстраты надо добавить низинный (разложившийся) торф или компост). Не поленитесь тщательно подготовить место для посадки, и растение продемонстрирует вам всю свою красоту.
Уход за Adlumia asiatica: необходимы опоры, побеги подвязывают и направляют. На удобренных почвах развивается больше зелени, чем цветков. Полив и подкормки обязательны. Вредители, болезни редки.
Размножение Adlumia asiatica: исключительно семенами, посев которых производят обычно в конце июня в холодные парники или разведочные гряды (всходам нужно обилие влаги). Но сеять можно осенью, зимой под снег, весной или летом. При осеннем или зимнем посеве контейнеры выносят на улицу или закапывают в снег. При весеннем или летнем посеве семена всходят через 15-20 дней. Сеянцы пикируют на расстоянии 15 см друг от друга. Посадку на место производят в первой половине сентября или ранней весной. Растение дает самосев, однако стержневые корни хрупкие, земля на них не держится, и пересадка удается плохо. Семян адлумия завязывает много. Всхожесть сохраняется в течение нескольких лет.
Использование Adlumia asiatica: нежные светло-зеленые листья, на фоне которых разбросаны многочисленные мелкие цветки, создают очень приятное впечатление. Срезанные цветоносы и ажурные листья используют в аранжировках. Кружевная папоротниковая листва ее может также изящно украсить скалы, или служить дополнительным декором для живых деревьев. Можно ежегодно подсаживать молодые растения в основание опоры, тогда композиция станет постоянной. Интересный вариант декора предлагают англичане: они рекомендуют высаживать адлумию у вечнозеленых хвойных деревьев. Наверное, композиция из темной хвои, оплетенной светлым кружевом адлумии, действительно выглядит необыкновенно красиво. В послевоенные годы адлумия широко использовалась в декоративном садоводстве, потом почему-то была практически забыта. В старых книгах того времени ее рекомендовали высаживать в пристенных посадках вместе с крупноцветными клематисами, «так как у того и другого вида растений весьма декоративные листья». Предлагали также создавать из адлумии легкие арки над дорожками, обвивать ею летние беседки.
