Good news and bouquets of flowers came today from a florist in Ukraine. From 11 May to 20 September 2010 in the Crimea will host the first international festival of landscape architecture "Crimea - Island of Flowers".

Festival of Crimea - Island of Flowers will take place in Ukraine

This summer season a large number of tourists will have another reason to visit Crimea: May 11, 2010 on its territory will be inaugurated the first international festival of landscape architecture "Crimea - Island of Flowers." The theme of the festival organizers called the Crimean legends, and this means that visitors to the festival will not only be something to see, but also to learn.
The festival will be held the following events: an exhibition with the three thematic areas: "Improvement," "Flora", "Education"; competition of professional florists; competition landscape compositions, the festival of flower beds, a variety of workshops on gardening, floral and landscape design. The aim of the festival of colors in the Crimea - show visitors a variety of techniques of landscape design and simultaneously make a big improvement of the Crimean territory, aimed, once again, to attract to the resort of additional tourists. Flower Festival in the Crimea will be closed September 20, 2010.
